The Dominican Women’s Caucus is a not for profit community organization dedicated to the empowerment of women.  We believe in improving our community through the education of women.  For the past 8 years, we have held a Youth Encounter, involving High School and College students as well as professionals and college administrators.  George Washington High School has participated in the last six.  The primary objectives of this event are to inform high school students about career options, to familiarize them with the college application and entrance process, to facilitate a practical verbal exchange between the students and the practitioners, and to provide a forum for discussions about issues of interest to young adults.
