The New York Digital show / VFX World/ The New York Audio production show
NY Digital Video Show moves to Madison Square Garden -expands to include Visual Effects and Audio Production.  

The Thursday-Saturday 3-day event presents 7 technical users conferences featuring many of the leading products in the industry – Final Cut Pro, Avid editing, 3ds max, SoftImage, Maya, After Effects, Pro Tools, and legendary animators/filmmakers Don Bluth and partner Gary Goldman will give a 1-day TOON-UP 2003 Animation Workshop.  The technical user conferences are run under the auspices of Tech Chair, Ben Kozuch, President of Future Media Concepts.  The NY Audio Production Show Keynote tracks are organized by Mix journalist, Paul Verna, serving as Audio Production Conference Chair. 

At the center of the 3-day training activity is a full-scale Exhibition where attendees will have access to hands-on demonstrations for hundreds of related products and be able to attend free training sessions from vendors including Apple and Pinnacle.  Key exhibitors and sponsors include Apple, Avid, Discreet, Pinnacle, Canon, Sony, JVC and Hewlett-Packard.  Three simultaneous tracks of Keynotes/industry leader panels will open to the public for each event: digital video production, visual effects/animation and audio production.  Admission is free to all pre-registered; $25.00 on site.  The expo will run Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2003.

The NY DV Show is endorsed by several key industry associations including ACE, IEEE, The Editors Guild and is presented in cooperation with B&H, the nation’s leading mail-order source for photo, video, pro-audio and digital photography equipment.   

Organizers are offering a special VIP pass which entitles the holder to attend all events, including Night School Masterclasses on Thursday, January 30.  The cut-off for an Early Bird Registration discounts is Friday, December 13, 2002.
